Deep Breathing

Many patients report an improvement in lymph flow just by changing their breathing pattern. And it turns out that they’re right. Breathing in a way that causes a deep expansion and contraction of the diaphragm stimulates the lymphatic system, massages your internal organs, encourages your body to get rid of toxins, and reduces stress. The latter is particularly important for fat disorder patients since stress can be a trigger for our symptoms. Incorporating exercises that focus on the breath, such as Tai Chi, yoga and Pilates may be especially effective for those patients suffering from a fat disorder.
